The Akai MPK25 Portable Keyboard Controller with MPC Pads offers a portable keyboard controller with the added feature of 12 MPC pads.
Based on the Akai MPK49, the MPK25 features a 25-key, semi-weighted keyboard with after-touch,
ideal for expressive playing. It also features 12 genuine MPC pads, and four pad banks, which
means the pads can access 48 sounds in total.
The MPK25 has transport controls for controlling DAW recording and playback, as well as
modulation and pitch-bend wheels and assignable two footswitch inputs. The pressure and velocity
sensitive pads enable expressive creativity, while the unit’s twelve knobs and four buttons can
be assigned to control virtually any recording software parameter.
With USB and MIDI connectivity, note repeat, MPC swing, full level volume and a tap tempo
feature, as well as a portable yet rugged built quality, the Akai MPK25 is as useful on the road as it is in the studio.
