The Avid Pro Tools HD2 HDX Exchange (card only) is a complete Pro Tools HDX system upgrade for HD2 users.
The Pro Tools HDX Exchange Program gives existing Pro Tools HD users the chance to upgrade to a Pro Tools HDX system and Pro Tools HD 10.
Swap in your old hardware and upgrade your rig to the latest Pro Tools HDX system and get the benefits of the significant increase in DSP, performance and workflow enhancements, AAX plug-in architecture, lower latencies and more headroom. Take advantage of 64-bit compatibility and extended disk cache - load entire songs into RAM, speeding up the creative process, saving valuable hours in the studio.
This exchange requires that you return your HD2 System. In return you will receive a HDX PCIe Card and Pro Tools HD 10 Upgrade. Please call your local store or our customer services helpline to arrange the exchange as Avid must receive your old hardware back within 30 days from receipt of your new system.

- System Requirements: Apple Mac Pro (Nehalem/Westmere models only), Mac OS X Lion (32-bit or 64-bit), 4 GB of RAM (4 GB or more recommended), Minimum 15 GB free hard disk space for Pro Tools installation, USB port for iLok authorization (plus, Internet connection for software download)
