The Tascam iZX Audio Interface for iOS Devices turns your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch into a professional recording device.
The Tascam iZX features audio connections that allow you to record and play back high-quality audio to and from today's favourite iOS devices. Connections for microphones and instruments on the unit allow the use of condenser microphones that require an XLR connection with phantom power, line level sources, and guitars that need a high-impedance input.
Virtually any App on the iOS hardware can make use of the interface, from guitar amps to music production and DJ Apps. Control over input gain is provided with a switchable mic/line selector, as well as a headphone output for monitoring purposes. Power is supplied from a pair of AA batteries ensuring true portability for go-anywhere recording and music-making.
