The Eastwest Dark Side delivers unconventional, modern virtual instruments that provide a versatile range of sounds from dark and eerie effects to mangled, warped noises.
East West’s Dark Side provides composers and artists, particularly rock bands, with the sounds and unique instruments that are perfect for providing inspiration and adding great sounds to recordings. A vast 40 GB collection of virtual instruments including guitars, basses, drums, keyboards and strings
provides a huge scope for creativity and easy to use effects allows users to customise and alter every aspect of the sound.
‘Bone Crunch’ packs an extremely heavy drum kit whereas ‘Distorted Attack Bass’ pays tribute to the early punk rock movement through its manic bass tone. ‘Dirt Boy Guitar’ offers fuzzy experimentation and ‘Distorted Lead’ can turn your guitar sound into something resembling Brian May from Queen. Some of East West’s Quantum Leap synths have been included, albeit in ghastly, warped form. David Friddman’s own collection of organs and keyboards has also been included and few libraries rival The Dark Side’s range and versatility.
