The Sonnox Fraunhofer Pro-Codec Plug-In allows you to audition, encode and decode audio signals in real-time. The Pro-Codec uses Fraunhofer codecs, making it possible to audition and encode in your DAW environment.
The Fraunhofer Pro-Codec features extensive monitoring tools and a fully comprehensive graphic display. All main Codecs are supported- mp3, mp3 Surround, AAC-LC, HE-AAC, and HE-AAC v2.
Using this Sonnox plug-in mix engineers may produce mixes optimised towards specific target codecs, thereby ensuring maximum fidelity. Similarly, Mastering engineers may audition in the final format and produce compensated masters for final encoding and distribution.
