Steinberg Cubase Artist 6.5 supports 128 MIDI and 64 simultaneous audio tracks with 24-bit/96 kHz. New features include improved and more intuitive take-comping workflow, plus new VST instruments and effects. The fusion of the hitpoint and AudioWarp system helps non-destructively quantize and groove-lock single audio loops or entire arrangements.
The VST Amp Rack 1.5 plugin includes an array of superb amp emulations and signature presets created by international artists. The new Padshop virtual granular synth provides complex textures while Retrologue brings back the sound of analog circuits.
DJ-EQ is an easy-to-use equalizer with the typical kill switches found on professional DJ mixers. MorphFilter brings the superior filter types of Steinberg’s HALion 4 to Cubase, allowing seamless blending between filter curves.
With the use of the FLAC lossless audio codec you can save up to 60% disk space. Cubase 6.5 now connects your favorite ReWire client applications in a pure 64-bit environment under Windows and Mac OS X.
