The Gemini Firstmix I/O Usb Midi Controller with Soundcard is a compact and simple to use 2.1 Digital DJ System, bundled with the Mixvibes Cross LE software package.
The Gemini Firstmix I/O is an easy to use two channel compact controller measuring just 360 x 133 x45 mm for ultra portability. The featured on-board mixer allows control over 2 band EQ, volume, pitch and effects. Tactile control for playback of audio comes from two 5” touch sensitive jog wheels, giving you the ability to scratch, cue and pitch bend. Cue buttons are available for each channel for instant playback from your chosen points.
The Gemini Firstmix I/O has an integrated soundcard which has separate master and headphone outputs letting you cue separately from the mix and are capable of playing back M4A, AIFF, WAV, MP3, FLAC and OGG formats.
Mixvibes Cross LE DJ software comes bundled with the Gemini Firstmix I/O and lets you use the controller straight out the box when installed on either PC or Mac. This intuitive software makes mixing easy and enjoyable, also letting you import music from iTunes for simplicity. However if you prefer other DJ Software packages the Firstmix I/O will work with many of the most popular DJ programs including Traktor and Virtual DJ.
