The Cuica is also known as a puita, boi or onca, and is mostly associated with Brazilian Samba music.A small stick is attached to the skin, which is rubbed with a wet cloth.
The friction causes the head to vibrate. The player can change the pitch by pressing on the skin. 6" Diameter.
