Thanks to the internal flash backup, your samples will be retained in the memory of the Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UW even after the unit is switched off. The dynamic 12-bit sample engine will add punch, grit and character to your samples. The sonic experience is incredibly powerful. Hearing those dirty UW bass drums is like being kicked in the head by a horse!
The UserWave is also the perfect companion for the new style DJ. Use the RAM machines to capture loops from a turntable and remix them on the fly. The RAM machines can also resample the internal sound of the Machinedrum, entering yet unknown and potential hazardous audio territory.
Both synthetic and sample based sounds can be manipulated to great extents. In a matter of seconds a vocal sample can be transformed in to a kick drum. Change a few parameters and a hand clap is suddenly a hi hat. Your imagination is the only limit.
Live performers have a trusty companion in the SPS-1UW+ MKII. Capture loops from a turntable, slice and rearrange the recorded material while adding effects and filtering. The ultra-flexible sequencer allows for total control of all your sounds and samples.
The +Drive of the Machinedrum dramatically increases the storage capability. The +Drive allows over 16'000 patterns, 8'000 kits and 6'000 samples to be internally saved. Use the bundled TM-1 interface, which comes at no extra cost, for quick back ups and sample transfers. The SPS-1 UW+ MKII is a self contained power house.
The +Drive of the Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MKII divides the machine in 128 Snapshots. Each Snapshot can contain up to 128 patterns, 64 kits, 32 songs, 8 globals and a sample bank consisting of 48 ROM sample slots.
