The Pearl Vision VX drumkit features blended Birch Ply shells with 6/8 shell technology. Lower frequencies require greater energy to project equally to match the high frequencies produced by smaller drums. The combination of six-ply rack toms and eight-ply floor toms and bass drums deliver a dynamically balanced sound. VX comes with a Brushed Steel SensiTone snare drum and Award-Winning 900 Series Hardware.
Pearl Vision VX offers a sonically advanced recipe of strategically arranged plies of premium wood to maximize frequency response in every component. As with all Pearl drums each shell is formed from the legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, Precision cut scarf joints, the proprietary Acoustiglue and over 1000lbs of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.
Pearl Vision VX features Pearl's legendary SensiTone snare drums, that have been the choice of discerning drummers for years. As the name implies these drums provide extreme sensitivity combined with amazing tone and clarity due to their 5.5" steel shell that projects extreme volume with articulate response for dynamic power and cut.
Vision's 900 Series hardware provides the ultimate combination of rugged durability and innovative functionality. As with all of Pearl’s Advanced Hardware, you get professional high strength dependability with sure grip over-sized rubber feet and out parallel Sure Struts that resist lateral twisting to prevent squeaks and instability.
