Introducing the Roland TD-9KX2 V-Tour Series Electronic Drum Kit, including a upgraded and newly designed mesh style KD9 kick pad and large V-Cymbals. The TD-9KX2 also includes an upgraded TD-9 percussion sound model located via the interface with twice as many kits as its predecessor for a more exciting playing experience. It is possible to play any style of music with the diverse range of sounds and backing tracks available or you can drum along to your IPod or MP3s via the IPod port and USB dock. A quick record and playback feature means you can capture creative ideas. The Roland offers what has become known as the ‘V drums advantage’ – mesh heads that give dynamic, expressive sounds at an affordable price.
The multi-layer mesh technology patented by Roland gives the TD-9KX2 both a great acoustic response and dynamic sounds. Sophisticated technology allows the drums and cymbals to have dual triggers which add exciting sounds to drum kits. The cymbals have extended bow area for three-way triggering and the snare drum is designed to give you the opportunity to play rim shots and accurate cross sticks. The MDS9 adjustable drum stand ensures the whole kit is sturdy and the cymbals use ball clamps so are easily adjustable to your playing requirements.
A unique function of the TD-9KX2 V-Tour series is the ‘Scope’ mode which is designed to develop your timing skills. Located on the interface, a sequencer lets you observe the beats you are playing on all the drum heads giving you real-time information. The TD-9kX2 is a hugely playable and versatile drum kit.
