The Roland TD-9K+P V-Drums, V-Tour Series Electronic Drums. Roland introduces another member of its award-winning V-Drums line: the TD-9K. For drummers who want a state-of-the-art V-Drums kit but an even more cost-effective option, the TD-9K offers all of the features and advantages of the TD-9KX but with rubber tom pads instead of mesh and a dual-trigger ride cymbal. This TD-9K+P version also includes the essential MDS-9 drum stand (normally sold separately), an excellent match for the TD-9K with newly designed ball-clamps for the snare and cymbal arms and the latest hi-hat mount for maximum flexibility.
The core of the TD-9K kit is the TD-9 Percussion Sound Module, with hundreds of new sounds, real-audio songs and patterns onboard, plus new Scope and Quick Rec/Quick Play practice functions, it raises the bar significantly in its price range. The full V-Hi-Hat (VH-11) compatibility and 3-way ride triggering availability are also perfect for optional system expansion.
The TD-9 is outfitted with a luxurious, large backlit display with accompanying oversized buttons and controls. Its friendly, icon-based user interface makes editing sounds and customizing kits fast and fun. Play along with real-audio backing songs to build your musical experience base. Use the USB port to import audio files of your choice (.WAV), back up your data, or save a "quick record" performance. The "Quick Record" and "Quick Play" features allow you to immediately record and play back solo drum parts, or drum parts performed with the backing songs.
A special connecting cable allows for fast, clean, and easy connection to the pads. The pads include the 10-inch PD-105BK mesh V-Pad (snare) and three PD-85BK rubber head toms, both feature Roland’s latest dual-triggering technology, resulting in more even and accurate sensing between the head and rim. The CY-5 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad features a 12-inch playing zone and swing movement for more drummer-friendly triggering. The pad also provides separate bow and edge triggering. By using the included FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller, drummers can get realistic hi-hat sounds with smooth transitions between open and closed. The CY-8 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad offers precise and accurate triggering for the crash and ride cymbals—complete with “swinging” motion and cymbal “choke” capabilities. The CY-12R/C V-Cymbal Ride/Crash is a 12-inch dual-trigger electronic cymbal that offers the natural rebound, inertia and "swinging" motion of an acoustic cymbal—plus cymbal choke capabilities—making it perfect for use as a ride, crash or even a splash cymbal. And finally, drummers will appreciate the KD-8 Kick Trigger Pad’s sturdy, vertical design that gives drummers a better feel and solid kick drum sounds. The upright KD-8 can even accommodate double bass pedals (no kick pedals included with this kit - pedal in product picture shown only for photography purposes) —perfect for drummers who want to create complex rhythms.
