The Yamaha Stage Custom American Fusion Drum Kit features 6-ply 100% birch shells with 45 degree bearing edges. The staggered diagonal seam allows a thin shell that is strong and built to last.
Yamaha’s stage Custom series all feature beautiful high-gloss lacquer finishes. Low-mass lugs let the shell vibrate for superb tone and sustain. These drums are complimented by Yamaha's legendary YESS tom mount system which maximises the resonance of the drum by taking the tom mount away from the shell and mounting it on the Nodal point.
Borrowing from the legendary Recording Custom drum sets, the world-famous Yamaha birch sound is now available in an affordable package. From the YESS mounting system to the tom ball clamps to the rich lacquer finishes, the Stage Custom Birch encompasses value, quality, and craftsmanship.
