The Ashdown ABM-1000 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head is upon the most powerful of Ashdown’s ABM industry standard professional bass amplifier range. The Ashdown Bass Magnifier range is known for its versatility, amazing tone, reliability and in the ABM 1000’s case – power, boasting a whopping 1000 watts RMS output.
Just as you’d find on all of he AMB range, the ABM-1000 features a single instrument input with a Passive/Active selector switch and famous Ashdown VU meter. The Ashdown ABM1000 versatile EQ consists of Bass, Middle and Treble controls with two sliders placed between each control to adjust the frequencies in-between the main controls.
The Ashdown ABM-1000 also features a varied array of sound shaping push buttons, including Flat / Shape push switch, Valve, Compression, Sub Harmonics and when it all gets too much, a handy push to mute switch. The Outputs on the ABM1000 include: a balanced XLR DI, tuner out, speakon/jack speaker output and line out.
