The Bogner Alchemist HD Guitar head offers a high-end custom amp experience for guitarists who are discerning about tone. The Alchemist Head was created directly from the vision of Reinhold Bogner and inspired by the culture and tonality of classic Californian-flavored guitar amps. The Alchemist delivers the chimey, sparkling cleans, creamy, touch-sensitive leads and bright and colourful crunch associated with its predecessors. Featuring two independent channels and a four-button foot switch, the Alchemist Head is entirely flexible and designed to compliment the sounds of any single-coils and humbuckers just as well in either vintage or modern flavours.
The Alchemist HD Head's power section is switchable from 40 to 20 watts, giving you almost endless tonal options. When switched to 20 watts, Alchemist undergoes a complete sonic metamorphosis, changing its harmonic complexity and feel to conjure the essence of the legendary 'Brown' sound.
The Bogner Alchemist Head boasts 6L6 class-AB power sections and five-12AX7 preamps, plus with top-shelf delay and reverb post effects running in parallel and remaining separate from the original signal, the result is a rich, living and breathing, fully realized resonance that will bring out the absolute best in every guitar player.
