It is good value for money and I am very happy with the sound.

Great little valve amp for the money. Don't be put off by the brand.
Works best with Strats for a nice bluesy tone.
5 watts is loud for home use, so make use of the attenuator. I have it on 1/2 watt and that does the job at home volume levels.

Only Cons I can think of is that it came with a European power cable

The amp looks really classy with it's retro styling. It appears from the cabinet and the overall finish to be very well made. It is remarkably loud for 5W although you do need some reverb on to achieve this.Sound quality is nice as long as you hold back on the gain. More gain gives more distortion if that's your thing. The price and the delivery time from DV were very good. My criticism however is that the power lead supplied had a two prong continental style mains plug. I used a shaver adapter but a friend told me this was dangerous as it left the unit unearthed. He also said the funy whine I heard when turning off the amp was to do with that. He gave me a suitable power lead and sure enough it stopped the funny noise! Isn't it a legal requirement that all electrical products supplied in the UK come with a suitable 3 pin plug or adapter?
