The Cornell 1st Fuzz NOS Guitar Effects Pedal is literally an original Fuzz Face pedal built using original and ultra rare NKT 275 transistors.
The Cornell First Fuzz was buit using Germanium transistors which were the first type of transistor generally available in the early 1960s. There are several types but the NKT 275 has the best Fuzz tone.
The transistors are selected according to strict parameters. Cornell have added a bias pot because this type of transistor is likely to drift over a period of time or in varying temperatures. Carbon Composition resistors are used just like the original Germanium Fuzz Face pedals.
