Fender Jazzmaster First introduced to the masses at the 1958 NAMM show, the Fender Jazzmaster has far surpassed the original jazz audience that the guitar was originally intended for. Utilised by surf rock aficionados in the sixties, the guitar was popularised for its contoured offset-waist body and floating proprietary vibrato tremolo with lock switch. The 25½” extended scale length neck and lead/rhythm circuit switching with independent volume and tone controls also contributed to the Jazzmaster’s iconic character and lasting charm. We have a great selection here at DV247 with Jazzmaster Standard and Jazzmaster Classic Player models and lots more.
Adapted, customised and shredded to bits by artists such as Elvis Costello and noise-rock veterans like Thurston Moore and Nels Cline, the Jazzmaster is a timeless masterpiece that will live on for generations to come.
