The Flying V is certainly hard to miss. This most literally named guitar has a striking body shape that – while admittedly somewhat difficult to play sitting down – combines a striking aesthetic and unrivalled fretboard access.

It's a shredder's dream, and has accordingly ended up in a lot of rock and metal over the years. Flying Vs are generally armed with humbuckers, fast necks and frets and more often than not a not-so-understated finish, although natural korina finishes are available for the more 'subtle’ players among you.

The V can be a big beast in terms of body size, but the angles make up for this, so there'll definitely be no problem in reaching for those high notes. If you want to get a little glam perhaps, or look pointy and lethal, the Flying V Electric Guitar is perfect.
