The easy play, bound 3 piece mahogany set neck with an ebony fretboard on a bound mahogany body provides excellent resonance and sustain. The ESP Guitars Ltd EC1000VB has a 24.75 inch scale for easy note bending and the upper frets are easily reached with the cutaway design. The fingerboard has eyecatching abalone flag inlays whilst Schaller locking tuners, TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece plus an Earvana Compensated Nut ensure reliable tuning across the note range.
