The Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue, Satin Faded Cherry is a reissue of the original Gibson ES-335 first released in 1958, but would eventually reach its most desirable form one year later in 1959. The Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue, Satin Faded Cherry is a Satin finish version of the Gibson ES-335 Dot Plain Gloss model.
The Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue features a maple top, back and sides and cream binding. Its one-piece, 24-¾ inch scale length mahogany neck features a long tenon and a 22-fret, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays.
In addition to its great hollow-body and stunning looks, the ES-335 Dot Reissue creates legendary tones by utilizing a pair of Gibson’s renowned ’57 Classic humbucking pickups, which are the closest thing to original “PAF” pickups on the market today.
Other traditional appointments include vintage tulip tuners and all nickel hardware, including an ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The guitar also comes complete with a black levant hardcase.
