The Gibson Blues King Acoustic-Electric Guitar has the small-body shape of the 1930s Gibson L-00 but with a slightly shallower body depth for a fuller, more balanced tone. It takes the traditional Gibson L-Series design a step forward. The Gibson L-Series flat-tops have been favourites of blues guitarists from the very beginning, the Blues King will inspire a new generation of artists to carry on a great American art form. The Blues King has a Sitka spruce top, plus mahogany back and sides that contribute to a warm, balanced tone that is enhanced by the body depth (7/8-inches shallower than a standard L-00 at the end pin). It has the classic early sunburst design with simple dot inlays on the fingerboard. This portable guitar is light, exceptionally comfortable to play, and comes equipped with a Gibson gig bag plus built-in active electronics with a sound hole mounted volume control.
