The Gibson Montana Gold Super Jumbo Acoustic Guitar is a proud member of the Gibson Custom Acoustics range of guitars, taking the SJ-200 design to the highest levels of craftsmanship. From singing cowboy stars of the 1930s to rock and country superstars of today, the most influential artists have chosen Gibson’s SJ-200, the King of the Flat-Tops, to make a bold statement of musical excellence. The Montana Gold Custom has an eastern curly maple back and sides, gold Imperial tuners, ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays, sitka spruce top, J-200 moustache bridge and an eastern curly maple neck. The four mother of pearl bridge bar inlays, 6-ply Top, 4-ply Back body binding, single-ply fingerboard binding with birdsbeak design, tortoise J-200 with Montana Gold logo and wheat pickguard, black and white checker board body marquetry and special wheat and banner mother of pearl inlay on the headstock add further class to this popular custom shop beauty.
