A lot of FX pedals can be, very literally, a handful and then some when it comes to getting them to gigs and studios, keeping them safe, and keeping them wired up properly and without incident at gigs. The only way to do that is with a pedalboard.
Stick or screw your pedals into place, power them through a multi-adaptor that's installed into the case itself, and lock everything up tight in a solid chassis to keep the pedals from harm. These pedal boards will earn their own cost in the protection they'll give to you, and the ease of transportation alone.
