The Ibanez S1XXV-FGR 25th Anniversary Electric Guitar is a limited edition electric guitar combining all the best features of the RG’s (which stands for Roadstar Guitar) illustrious 25 year history.
Introduced in 1987 as a lighter, thinner option than other Ibanez models, the S1XXV-FGR was embraced by elite guitarists of the period. The S 25th Limited Edition combines all the best features of the S-series over the past 25 years, like a super-thin 3-piece maple Wizard III neck, a solid mahogany body and the compact ZR bridge with ZPS2 (Zero Point System) designed to always return flawlessly to its rest position for the ultimate tuning stability.
Visually, the Ibanez S1XXV-FGR harks to the bold guitarists that brought it into the limelight over the years, bearing the neon finished that only Ibanez can pull off, as well as colour-matched inlays up the fingerboard. Add to this the combination of powerful HSH DiMarzio IBZ pickups and classic 5-way switching and you have a metal machine that could bring other guitars to their knees, (if they had any).
