The Ibanez SR4005E Bass Guitar features Bartolini US made Pickups, MR4 Mono-Rail Bridge and Power Curve III EQ.
Bartolini Pickups are hand made at the Ibanez factory in California. Bartolini Pickups provide much deeper tone from the neck pickup while retaining a bright tone for the bridge, unlike traditional designs that used equal pickup tone. The pickups are dual coil designs in several soapbar shapes, some rounded top and some flat top. The Neck pickup tone is very deep and the Bridge pickup tone is bright. This allows the widest tonal sweep from the Blend control.
The MR4 Mono-Rail Bridge is the ultimate in string isolation. Each saddle is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer and no interference. One screw controls the height of each saddle for easy adjustment
The Power Curve III 3-band EQ was developed specifically for the new SR Prestige line. The Mid Q control makes adjustment of the core of your bass tone (the mids) extremely simple. EQ variable range makes it possible to get very natural sounding bass tones.
