The Jacques Katapult Germanium Vintage Treble Booster is a must-have for tube amp owners, ideally used to drive the valves in the amp to reach new heights in tone, sustain and overdrive. The Katapult's true by-pass circuitry is a first for a Jacques pedal, and helps to protect the signal from colouration. The Katapult can be used either as part of a pedal chain as a signal boost or on its own plugged directly into a valve amp to improve its performance.
The Katapult Germanium Treble Booster features a large control for volume/boost, and a 4-way switch for choosing to boost treble, mid, bass or all three together. The germanium transistors inside the Katapult help to reproduce sounds close to the germanium boosters used by Queen and Deep Purple.
