The Musicman Stingray 5 features advanced active electronics that combine the best of the four-string Stingray along with innovative ceramic humbucking pickup with a hum-cancelling ‘phantom’ coil for noise reduction and three-way pickup selector for series and parallel combinations – giving the Stingray 5 a truly unique sound, different to the sounds achieved on a 4 string stingray.
The tuners on the Musicman Stingray 5 are placed in a 4+1 configuration and the six-bolt on maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard (on this particular model) with 22 high-profile wide frets.
