An African padauk top and exotic soundhole hardwoods create a striking mix of red, crimson and warm brown hues. The guitar’s lightweight bracing yields a clear amplified tone with plenty of headroom before feedback on stage, and its slim neck has an electric-style profile, 20 hand-finished nickel-silver frets, and low factory-set action.
A cutaway insures easy access to the entire fretboard. With its 3-band equalizer and onboard tuner, the instrument’s OP-4BT preamp provides players with flexible tone control in any performance setting.
Ovation’s slim Super-Shallow bowl delivers a clear acoustic sound while providing the low-profile comfort of an electric guitar. Offering extremely durable construction, this Lyrachord composite bowl weighs 33% less than its deeper siblings.
