PRS Guitars continues to honor its legendary mentor with the new 25th Anniversary Ted McCarty Narrow Field model. Following in the footsteps of Ted's innovative spirit, this new guitar combines all the traditional features of the original McCarty Model with cutting edge pickups.
These passive “Narrow Field” pickups narrow the sensory field of the string much like a singlecoil but are hum canceling. The result is a new sounding pickup with blended features of single coil, soap bar and humbucking pickups. It is a new sound with traditional flavor.
