The PRS CE Maple Top 22 Electric Guitar, Vintage Natural is part of the Classic Electric Series CE for short, or often referred to as the CE22 or CE24 defined by the amount of frets. These sensational guitars offer the performance and style of the Custom 22, but with a more pronounced Fender influenced tone due to the bolt on Maple Neck, with the added warmth from the Mahogany body. Making this a great all-round guitar, ideal for the studio as the CE Maple Top is able to produce a wide array of tones via the PRS 5 way rotary switch.

The PRS CE 24 was designed back in 1988 and it's been in continual production ever since. It offers PRS's comfortable wide-thin neck carve and combines the clarity of PRS's popular 24 fret instruments with the warmth and classic style of a maple-topped, one-piece mahogany body and HFS/Vintage Bass pickup combination. The CE 22 has a slightly shorter, stiffer neck with the Wide Fat carve and the full tone of the 22 fret models, add the Dragon II pickups and you have a guitar with a quality of tone and playability far in excess of its price tag.
