The Squier Deryck Whibley Telecaster guitar is an affordable eyecathcer, with some tasty Artist tweaks. "Deryck" Signature on Front of Headstock and Red “X” Graphics on Body and Pickguard, are the Artists colours. The agathis body snugs up to an all-maple neck and fingerboard with black dot position inlays, medium-jumbo frets and a 25-1/2 inch scale. The Deryck Whibley Telecaster has been loaded with a Duncan-designed HB-102 Chrome Covered Humbucking Pickup (bridge) for classic Tele tone and a 6-saddle bridge for better intonation. The Squier Deryck Whibley Telecaster is part of the Squier Artist Series.
