The Vintage Advance AV2S3SB Electric Guitar, Sunset Sunburst offers a new slant on a classically-styled single cutaway guitar, featuring a 'high access' bolt-on, satin finished maple neck with 22 fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. The unique Bubinga heel extension provides enhanced mechanical coupling between the neck and body, producing increased sustain and definition.
The subtly offset body is constructed from acoustically chambered American alder, giving extra depth and breadth to the resonance and additional personality to the tone. Through-body stringing and an intonation-compensated 3-saddle Wilkinson WTB bridge deliver all the string response associated with this style of instrument.
The AV2S guitars deliver optimum playability, and feature a variety of useable pickup configurations, plus guitars equipped with the Wilkinson WVC humbucking pickup in the neck position can be rolled back to single coil mode using the Vintage ‘Roll Control’, whilst the 3 x single coil option offers various additional tonal options. The AV2S is a terrifically versatile ‘country to rock’ style guitar, with some real tone in its twang.
