The Washburn HB30 double cutaway workhorse sports a maple top, chrome hardware with a stop tail piece and tune-o-matic style bridge. Primarily maple, this hollowbody contains a center block for added sustain. Hollowbody guitars are lighter and more resonant than their solid body counter parts. This gives a somewhat mellower tone to the guitar making it well suited to Jazz. This double cutaway model includes a solid maple block in the center, reducing susceptibility to feedback and making it well suited to rock and blues.
