Great Sound Quality! Light comfortable around the ears
May just be me but when on for over an our and a half the headband starts to ache the top of my head.
Here's a brief review on these headphones. Very neutral and balanced across the listening range, generally speaking 100Hz-10Khz is revealing if unforgiving to badly mastered music.Since these are 62 Ohm/200mW rated, these do need an amplifier to get the best out of them. They might sound OK on a normal Hi-Fi or MP3/iPod alas these aren't really designed with this in mind. Besides these are big. There's a little bit of leakage although this also lets in so much of a room, so the bass won't sound so boxy or hyped either. For the first few days, I just listened to music to get used to them and break them in. The top head-band may need adjusting now and again, as I found it slightly uncomfortable at times. Otherwise your ears are not bothered and can be worn for quite long periods. My only disappointment was the fact, they were made in China which in itself is not a bad thing although it does mean production of these have been shifted from Austria. Although I believe the flagship K812 headphones are still made there. These should compliment any good pair of loudspeakers in the £400-£500 range.
They have better definition, with less tonal bias, this allows your mix to be more accurate so when your track is played on different equipment it should still sound good. Not best choice for music listening, but better for making a mix,the build quality is no better than my £40 Audio Technica phones ,however I am well pleased with these phones for making project mixes.
