The unit features two individual ultra-fast, high gain and low distortion preamps and has been specially designed for both field and studio recording, resulting in a premium preamp with low power consumption.

For those doing DV recording and want to improve on the preamps in their professional cameras, the Mini-MP is an ideal solution. The Mini-MP is not critical about its power-supply at all; any DC voltage 6-14 Volt at 1 Amp will be sufficient. This gives the Mini-MP owner total flexibility to select from many battery and third party power pack options and the freedom to record any place, anywhere.
