The Universal Audio UAD1 Project Pak brings the revolutionary Uinversal Audio combination of DSP hardware and highly-prized software plug-ins within the reach of small PC or Mac project studios with a limited budget.

It is also how existing users can inexpensively take advantage of even greater power, by using multiple UAD-1 cards (up to four per system). The Universal Audio UAD1 Project Pak supports 44.1 to 192khz sessions and is the easiest way to upgrade your mixes and get that professional polished sound using your existing DAW software/hardware without needing a computer upgrade.

At heart of the Universal Audio UAD-1 Project Pak is the same single unpartitioned, floating-point super-computing processor which allows for larger and more sophisticated processing algorithms offering a new level of power and complexity not found with host-based plug-ins. By greatly reducing the burden on your computers CPU, your host application can now deliver more tracks, automation and native effects.

The UAD-1 Project PAK has been tested and approved for use with all the major DAW software systems including: Nuendo, Cubase SX, Ableton Live, Wavelab, Sonar, Apple Logic Pro, MOTU Digital Performer and many more.

System Requirements:

• Available PCI or PCI-X slot for each UAD-1 card
• Microsoft Windows XP (Home, Pro, or x64 Edition), Windows Server 2003, or Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit versions)
• Mac OS X version 10.4.0 or higher
• 256 MB of RAM (512 MB is strongly recommended)
• 125 MB of available disk space
• CD drive or internet connection for software installation
• 1024 x 768 or higher resolution monitor
• VST, RTAS, or Audio Units host software, such as Steinberg Nuendo, Digidesign Pro Tools, or Apple Logic Pro
• An AGP graphics video adapter (PCI graphics is not recommended)
• Internet connection required for registration and obtaining optional plugins
