Kontakt Player Gold description:

Kontakt Player Gold will bring your scores to life.
It lets you play back and create CDs with Sibelius 3, using 63 high-quality instruments and 111 percussion sounds. It's the advanced version of Kontakt Player Silver, which is included with Sibelius 3.

Each sound has been carefully recorded from live instruments, then meticulously edited to ensure that it will play perfectly in a variety of musical situations.

You can even adjust each sound yourself, including its attack, brightness and reverb.

A world of instruments
Kontakt Player Gold's sounds cover woodwind, brass, keyboards, percussion, strings, voice and guitars just about everything you'll need for orchestral, band, jazz, vocal, chamber, rock & pop music.

A world of musical instruments is included, from piccolo to Bsendorfer piano to female choir plus more specialized sounds such as bass clarinet, flugelhorn, marching toms and handbells.

Strings are provided in sectional and solo versions, plus techniques such as col legno and sul ponticello. Other special sounds include different sung vowels, drum rolls, cymbal techniques, and picked & fingered guitars.

Whatever kind of music you write, you'll find Kontakt Player Gold brings every score to life. System Requirements

Requires 750Mb hard disk space (in addition to Sibelius 3), Windows 98/Me/2000/XP (not NT4), Mac OS 9.1/9.2/10.2 or later (not 10.1.5). If you want to use reverb, you will need a considerably faster processor than the slowest stated below.

Scores that use up to about 8 different sounds:


• Windows: 700MHz processor or faster, 256Mb+ RAM, preferably sound card (not sound chip on motherboard).
• Mac: G4/G5, 256Mb+ RAM.

  Scores that use up to about 20 different sounds:
  

• Windows: Pentium 4 or Athlon XP, 256Mb+ RAM. Preferably Windows 2000/XP; 512Mb RAM or 7200rpm hard disk; sound card (not sound chip on motherboard), ASIO driver support recommended; separate graphics card. (Computers that do not meet all of these requirements may still be able to play 20 different sounds.)
• Mac: G4 (preferably 1GHz+) / G5, 512Mb+ RAM. Preferably 768Mb RAM or 7200rpm hard disk. (Computers that do not meet all of these requirements may still be able to play 20 different sounds.)

  Scores that use more than 20 different sounds may need a fast processor and more RAM.
