SOFTIE WITH MOUNT AND PISTOL GRIP (PG) HANDLE 033342 14cm Medium Hole 21/22mm diameter
This system will allow the user to either hold the mount with the pistol grip handle. Or attach it to a boom pole using the 3/8" Whitworth threaded insert in the base of the handle. This gives a very robust mounting system, which will be suitable for most situations. The main component of the Softie mount is a one piece rubber (actual material: EPDM) diaphragm shockmount. This unit is extremely robust, and has been tested in all environment conditions to ensure it performs.
There are three hole diameters for Rycote Softies. Small (SH) for a 19/20mm microphone, Medium (MH) for a 21/22 mm microphone and Large (LH) for a 24/25mm microphone.
