PGX14 Guitar Wireless System description:
The Shure PGX Series wireless microphone systems combine the convenience of single touch remote channel setup with the reliability of a diversity UHF design. Created for active musicians and presenters who also manage their own sound, Shure PGX Wireless improves your performance and simplifies your setup. Innovations such as automatic frequency selection and automatic transmitter setup make wireless quicker and completely worry-free. Channel and frequency settings are remotely synchronized from the transmitter to the receiver via infrared. PGX systems now feature Shure’s patented Audio Reference Companding, delivering the crystal clear sound quality that pro audio engineers trust.
The PGX14 Instrument Wireless System includes the PGX4 receiver, PGX1 bodypack transmitter, WA302 Instrument Cable, 2 AA batteries, Power supply and User guide. An ideal system for guitars, keyboards or those looking for a flexible, expandable and Multi-Use system.
The PGX4 receiver operates over an 18MHz UHF bandwidth (846 - 865 MHz) with the flexibility of selecting up to 90 UHF frequencies. It is possible to run 9 of these systems simultaneously with their own channel selections. The diversity design enables dual internal receiver circuits to compete for the strongest possible reception, minimising noise and RF interference. The rear panel has both XLR and 1/4 inch phone outputs.
The PGX1 bodypack transmitter is light weight and durable, featuring a 4-pin mini input. The input is compatible with many of Shure's lavaliers, headsets and instrument microphones. A 3-position input level switch enables the microphone input to accommodate microphone, line and Guitar level signals. The transmitter operates up to 8 hours on 2 AA alkaline batteries.
PGX14 Features:
- The PGX14 System is Multi-Use and expandable. 3-position input level switch enables the bodypack transmitter input to accommodate microphone, line and Guitar level signals from any source using the supplied WA302 1/4 inch to mini 4-pin guitar cable or the optional WA310 Female XLR to mini 4-pin cable. Any Shure Microphone that has a 4-pin mini connector can be used and powered directly from the bodypack
- The Frequency Agile UHF design provides up to 90 selectable UHF frequencies that operate on an 18MHz UHF bandwidth
- Diversity Reception system uses twin receiver circuits to minimise noise and drop out caused by RF interference
- Hi quality sound with quick and easy setup using infrared remote synchronization of channel and frequency status
- Use 9 systems simultaneousy within the 846 - 865 Mhz range for big events
- PGX4 has XLR and unbalanced 1/4 inch jack audio outputs
- PGX1 includes battery power warning lights - 8 hours battery life from 2 x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries
- Rugged carry case and batteries included
PGX14 System Specifications:
- Working Range: 100m (300 ft.) Note: actual range depends on RF signal absorption, reflection, and interference
- Audio Frequency Response +/– 2 dB: Minimum: 45 Hz, Maximum: 15 kHz (Overall system frequency depends on microphone element.)
