Developed by multiple award winning producers DOUG ROGERS and NICK PHOENIX and recorded in a 'state of the art' concert hall by Grammy winning classical recording engineer PROF. KEITH O. JOHNSON, this enormous 24-bit 138 gigabyte virtual instrument eclipses all others with the highest level of fidelity and realism. Beyond the orchestra's phenomenal recording quality is its ability to breathe life into the virtual world, creating a real space and filling it with sound. In the past, this meant adding reverb and effects, further digitizing and degrading the overall quality of your music. EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP accomplish this through separately recording the natural hall ambience after the instrument has stopped playing until the sound has actually ceased. The software triggers this "release trail" at the end of every note and adjusts the dynamics so that the samples blend seamlessly, truly placing the listener in the hall with the orchestra.

Each instrument and orchestral section is chromatically sampled at three different mic positions (close, stage and hall) allowing you to mix together any combination for the ultimate in real-time tone and ambience control. The PLATINUM PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRAL BUNDLE also features the revolutionary QLegato technology among its many articulation choices, enabling you to create smooth connected lines at fast or slow speeds with the strings, woodwinds, and brass.

Note:

The bundles sell with the XP serial numbers only. You can access the regular versions through the KOMPAKT interface of the XP Edition. All you have to do is copy the nks files into the same folder as the Pro XP nks files.

Basically this means you fully install the XP Version. Having done this you will have a "library folder" which will contain all of the XP samples.

You then copy the nks files (the samples) from the regular version's disks into the said "library folder". This way anytime you use the software, the front-end (Kompakt) will address the entire sample complement. i.e both the regular version and XP's samples.
