The Gibson 1961 SG Standard Reissue features an original-style sculpted double-cutaway mahogany body, fast, sleek, 1960 slim-taper mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, Green Key tuners and exclusive Gibson '57 Classic humbucking pickups at the neck and bridge that deliver clean, vintage warm tone with two volume, two tone, three-way switch controls. A highly versatile guitar with the sweet tone, particularly suited to rock and blues. The neck meets with the body at the 22nd fret, making the high notes very playable.
