The Gibson Alvin Lee Signature ES-335 electric guitar has the same faster '60s block inlay neck and an added pickup in the center position as his 1959 classic. This iconic guitar was preserved for all time in the Woodstock festival when Alvin blasted out the solo section in "Going Home". The Gibson custom shop has lovingly recreated Big Red as he liked to call his guitar. It features the stickers and artwork found on the body of the original, the added third pickup, custom pickguard and the replacement '60s block inlay neck. The Gibson Alvin Lee Signature ES-335 electric guitar features a plain laminated maple top, back and rims and a one-piece, cream bound mahogany neck with long neck tenon and rosewood fingerboard, a custom authentic faded Cherry finish and Holly headstock veneer. The 1960 slim taper neck profile is fast and sleek while the cream bound top and back, plus Kidney Bean tuners, nickel hardware and pearloid block inlays make this guitar a comfort to play and watch. Two naked '57 Classic humbucking pickups plus a single coil Syemour Duncan pickup in the middle belt out versatile, classic tones. The Gibson Alvin Lee Signature ES-335 provides the tone and the look that inspires musicians across many styles. Includes Gibson black hardshell case.
