The Ghost ‘Block’ 2 X 2 TRAP IN CHARCOAL 60cm x 60cm Acoustic Absorber, Includes Gobo rods. The most flexible unit in the Ghost range, and the basic starting point for any Ghost Acoustic system.

The 2 X 2 TRAP IN CHARCOAL combines easy to install wall treatment with the facility to be used as a freestanding Gobo (using the ‘Gobo stand’). Packed with high density (100Kg per cubic metre) Glass Fibre and layers of Aluminium foil, and finished in a brushed Aluminium frame with fire retardant polyester fabric, it is a highly effective full frequency absorber (as are all Ghost products). Test data from the Institute of Acoustics (at Tongji University, China’s leading authority on acoustic studies) shows highly effective (30-44%) removal of all audible frequencies down to 200Hz, and around 20% even down to 125 Hz with standard wall mounting. The ‘Block’ uses Ghost’s proprietary ‘Easy Mount’ system for wall fixing. Each trap ships with a lightweight metal frame which screws into the wall. Traps can then be easily hung and removed as required time after time, always in the correct position (after initial installation), and in seconds! The ‘Block’ also has 2 tubes which run through it’s length, and when in combination with the ‘Gobo Stand’, can be used to form modular acoustic screens up to 6 feet tall (in 2 feet stages) for guitar, drum and vocal booths etc. Highly versatile wall treatment, acoustic baffling for studio tracking, or for instrument separation in rehearsal rooms/live recording, this really is a one stop product for all needs.
