The SAMSON AIRLINE AX1/AM1 CHANNEL 2 is part of the Samson Airline series that features the first micro-technology transmitters in the industry. Traditional wireless systems consist of belt-packs and wires that hinder the performer. With Airline there are no belt-packs and no cables, real wireless, allowing the user complete freedom. This system includes the AX1 plug-in transmitter and the AM1 camera mountable receiver. The AX1 Plug-In Transmitter features an XLR-female input and enables any standard wired dynamic microphone to transmit wireless to the AM1 receiver. The compact, lightweight transmitter utilizes a single AAA battery for up to 14-hours of power. A microphone level control adjusts input gain and a battery status LED indicates battery and power status. The AM1 Micro Series Receiver is perfect for all video applications requiring outstanding audio and RF performance. By using miniaturized circuitry the AM1 is incredibly small, measuring just 2 inches by 1 5/8 inches, it is Samson’s smallest receiver to date. Mounting on the hot shoe of your camera or utilizing the belt clip, the AM1 features an audio out, a headphone out with level control for monitoring, a Mic/Line switch for optimized output, a Power Switch and a multi function LED displaying RF, Low Battery and Power. The AM1 receiver can operate five to eight hours on a single Triple-A battery.
