The Norman B20 CW HG PREFIX is the same guitar as the standard B20 but with a gorgeous high-gloss finish, a Fishman Prefix Pro pickup system and a cutaway design. The high gloss finish used on the B20 HG is comprised of eight coats of lacquer which is buffed down to the equivalent of about six coats—a process that takes about eight days to complete. The solid spruce top and high gloss finish alone distinguish this guitar. The three-layer laminate of wild cherry wood used in the back and sides of the B20 produces a tone that sounds warmer than maple but brighter than a mahogany guitar. The B20's tone works beautifully for recording and blends nicely when amplified on stage. The B20 CW HG Prefix includes the Fishman Prefix Pro pickup system, a truly professional system incorporating 4-band graphic EQ, notch filter and phase control for precise tone-shaping and feedback avoidance.
