The Kambala African Gathering Drum (or “Pow-Wow” drum) is a horizontally-seated bass drum which sits on a three-legged wooden stand. The stand features a cord which acts as a balance for the drum. The Kambala African Gathering Drum itself features cow skin head and traditional African rope tuning. The instrument has a fantastic booming sound and is ideally played with the mallets supplied.
