The Hiwatt DR504 CUSTOM Guitar Amplifier Head, Valve, 50 Watts. Hand-wired Guitar Amp Head with a classic tube sound and built to rock, from a legendary British name.

The Hiwatt DR504 Custom 50 amp head made the Hiwatt name what it is today. It is constructed just like the Dave Reeves originals, making this amp sound like no other. The sound of a Custom 50 or 100 stack at full tilt is truly awesome, the power and responsiveness is guaranteed to blow your socks off. The Hiwatt Custom 50 features original Partridge designed transformers, a dual channel preamp with a Low and High sensitivity input for each, 50 watts of all tube output and individual volume controls for Brilliant / Normal inputs plus Bass, Treble, Mid, Presence and Master Volume controls. The tube array has 2 x EL-34 tubes in the power stage and 4 x ECC-83 tubes in the preamp. Switchable 4, 8 and 16 ohm output impedance. Inside the amplifier reveals point-to-point hand wiring, turret tag boards (no printed circuits), and hand laced wiring harnesses. The power and output transformers are manufactured by Partridge, the original 1970's supplier to the original design sheets. The components and wires are the modern available equivalents of the vintage components, 1-watt carbon resistors, and wound polyester capacitors being used throughout.
