The Fishman ELLIPSE AURA NARROW Ellipse preamp with Aura Image Technology and Acoustic Matrix pickup. Add Fishman tone and image blending technology to your acoustic instrument, without altering its looks.

The Fishman Ellipse Aura Narrow onboard preamp system combines Fishman's most sophisticated onboard preamp with the power of the company's patented Acoustic Imaging Technology for accurate, true-to-life sound when amplifying acoustic guitars. A total of four Aura Images can be downloaded into the Ellipse Aura by using the Image Gallery sofware (included) via an onboard mini-USB port so that players can accurately match the Image to the instrument's natural tonal characteristics. This allows for a realistic, miked-up sound from the included Fishman Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup. The Ellipse Aura preamp's tone-shaping capability includes Pickup/Image Blend, Volume and switchable Natural I and Natural II low-frequency tone shaping. Feedback is controlled by a Phase Switch and an Automatic Anti-Feedback feature. The preamp's ergonomic soundhole-mounted design puts slider controls at the player's fingertips to maintain a natural playing position. A patented neodymium magnetic mounting system enables solder-free installation with a variety of size formats that accommodate most round soundholes from 3 7/8 inches (98 mm) to 4 1/8 inches (105 mm) in diameter.
