The Norman B18 is basically a solid spruce top version of the B15. The use of a painted rosette keeps costs down and makes this guitar the most affordable solid top, lacquer finished guitar on the market. The three-layer laminate of wild cherry wood used in the back and sides of this Protégé B18 combine with the spruce top to produce warm tones. The B18's tone works beautifully for recording and blends nicely when amplified on stage. Other standard features on all Norman guitars include: high-ratio sealed tuning machines, double-action truss rods, custom Tusq nuts, fully compensated saddles, and a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.
